Harley here! Don’t get me wrong, I love my job, but I also love my free time. To be honest, if I could be outside or at concerts all the time, I totally would be the happiest person on this planet. I have some friends that work four-day workweeks and they love it.
According to Fox 29, there was a bill that was introduced that recommends Americans go to four-day workweeks. It recommends that full-time Americans only work 32 hours a week. In theory that sounds great so we have extra free time, but when it comes to paying there are a lot of questions.
If we do switch to 32 hour work weeks are we still going to get paid for 40? Will every business switch to this? Are regulations on overtime going to change?
How do you feel about this? I’m truly torn because the workaholic in me says I would get bored way too easily.
