Seven new dates have been added to U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere, a first-of-its-kind live music experience which will see U2 as the first act to perform at the new 17,500-seat venue, beginning on September 29. Marking their first live shows in four years, the confirmation of the U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere shows come after U2 dropped news of the residency with a Super Bowl commercial in February.
Previously announced dates include five scheduled shows for September 29 and 30 and October 5, 7, and 8. However due to overwhelming demand after over one million ticket requests were put in during Ticketmaster’s verified fan registration process, U2 announced seven additional dates, bringing the total number of shows to 12. The additional shows, at the new venue the Sphere at The Venetian, all take place in October – October 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21 and 25.
